Artist Statement

Animals have always held a special place in my heart. My mixed media artwork celebrates the comfort, joy and beauty they have brought into my life. My inspirations are the dogs, cats and birds that I have rescued as well as the squirrels, rabbits, ducks and swallows that surround my home on the shores of Lake Michigan in Chicago.
